What is the difference between Shared Hosting, VPS hosting and Dedicated Hosting.

I will explain this as if we were talking about a house

Shared hosting is like sharing a room inside a house, you can use it but whatever your roommate does it will affect you.

VPS hosting is like having your own room in a house, you can still be affected by house members but you have your own room and you can mess it up the way you want.

Dedicated hosting is like having your own house you can do what ever you want with it.

so in resume:
when you use shared hosting you are sharing a server with thousands of folks
when you use a VPS you have a huge chunk of the server for yourself
When you use a dedicated server you have the whole server for you
